By Steven Zee, Founder of iManifest · · 2 min read

Quick answer: affirmation app or iManifest?

Pick an affirmation app if you want a simple, low-cost daily affirmation habit on your phone. Pick iManifest if you want affirmations plus courses, missions, ranks and people to keep you going.

Full disclosure: we built iManifest

The iManifest team wrote this page. App details come from each app's own App Store listing or website, checked in October 2026. Prices change, so check the store before you buy.

What each affirmation app is known for

Each app does one job very well.

ThinkUp

ThinkUp lets you record affirmations in your own voice, add an image and music and listen on a loop, with a free version and paid premium. When we checked on October 28, 2026, its US App Store page returned "not found", so check thinkup.me for where to get it.

I Am

I Am by Monkey Taps puts daily affirmations on your Home Screen and Lock Screen with widgets and reminders. It has over 700,000 ratings on the US App Store, with paid premium options.

Innertune

Innertune plays recorded affirmations by topic, with voice choices, background beats, offline downloads and the option to record your own voice in premium.

Where affirmation apps win

Apps built only for affirmations are hard to beat at that one job.

Simplicity

Open, read or listen, done. No setup.

Phone-native features

Lock-screen widgets and recordings in your own voice are things iManifest doesn't offer yet.

Price

A single app can cost less than a full platform.

Where iManifest wins

iManifest is a whole system, not a single habit.

Words plus action

Every affirmation pairs with a daily action line and a place to log the win.

Better-written affirmations

We teach why some affirmations backfire and how to write believable ones. Read do affirmations work?

Everything in one place

Manifesting, money, sales, mindset and fitness, with a crew to share wins with.

Can you use both?

Yes. Many members keep an affirmation app for lock-screen reminders and use iManifest for the plan, the courses and the crew.
